Engineering Planner

As your newest Engineering Planner, you’ll work to guarantee 100 percent on-time delivery of products to finished goods as scheduled by our committed shipment date. You will also be tasked with enhancing the company’s capability to meet customer delivery necessities by comprehending BU capacity, recognizing constraints, & actively reducing lead times by product, as well as, reduce investment in raw & finished material inventory where suitable.

Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate production plans to guarantee materials are delivered according to schedules
2. Works to fix (in case of design changes) material & labor shortages, backlogs & other possible schedule interruptions
3. Cooperate with engineering to create & sustain BOM's in SAP.
4. Coordinate the release of modules, units, &/or parts to appropriate department in production.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Sciences, Materials Management, Operations Management, Finance, or related education &/or skill.
2. Prior skill with SAP favored.
3. Skill in a high mix/low volume, pull-based manufacturing atmosphere.
